Student Target: All Students 9-12, community builders, problem solvers, curious, team builders.
Meetings: Monthly Last Tuesday of the month
Time: 3:30-4:15
Description: This will be a club that has students come together because they wanna learn and do different things. The premise is built around a themed event that changes week to week. For example, one week could be a video game competition, the week after students learn how to juggle, and the week after that students compete in an escape room. The only student requirement is You Gotta Wanna! Team, Community, and Relationship building along with student enrichment are at the core of this club.

Student Target: All Students 9-12, LGBTQIA+, curious, community builders
Meetings: Weekly Thursdays
Time: 3:20-4:00
Description: To give students an opportunity to be themselves and allow them to have a safe space to express themselves. To remind students that they are not alone and help them discover different representations. School culture is not always accepting of non-heteronormative people and I want to ensure that this is a school that is. “Welcome to the Rainbow! LGBTQ+ Pride is to create a safe space for students to be who they are. The club will be a community where students can talk about themselves, and the issues impacting the LGBTQIA+ community, develop relationships, and study the culture of the community. We will be talking about influential history, leaders, artists, media, rights, and events within the community. We will also be participating in different activities that highlight club members skills and interests! Let’s continue to grow the voice of the community!”

Student Target: All Students 9-12, movie lovers, readers, writers, artists, community builders
Meetings: Weekly Monday, Wednesday, & Friday
Time: 3:30-5:30
Description: We would be watching movies that have meaning in them on Mondays and Wednesdays. On Fridays, the students get together and discuss the meanings that they interpreted from the movies. If they can apply it to real-life scenarios or just in general. Every other Friday the students take a deeper dive into the movie and have a debate on whether they agree with the moral of the story or not. We also want to see which movie was more impactful for them. What they would think the movie could use more or less of. We will provide snacks and refreshments during movie days. (Monday and Wednesday) Fridays are more of the communication and if we decide to do some sort of project or activity for the day.

Student Target: 5-10 Students - ALL students are invited to come and join!
Meetings: Weekly Tuesdays & Thursdays
Time: 3:15 pm-4:00 pm
Description: LSU is an after-school club that will discuss and learns about different topics based on Spanish-speaking countries and inspirational figures. For example, we could discuss The Brown Berets which was a Chicano organization during the Chicano Movement here in the United States. Not only would we learn about different topics we would also do different arts and crafts that we could use to decorate the school with to express our diverse cultures.  One of our main goals for this club is to create an environment for Latino students to feel welcomed and embrace our Latino community. Also, all students are encouraged to join even if they are not Latino, but are willing to learn about the community.  We hope to fundraise money to be able to go on field trips to places like The San Bernardino County Museum.
